WorkBuddy Setup
Use GPT, Claude, Gemini and more inside Tencent's WorkBuddy through Flatrouter's OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
WorkBuddy is Tencent's AI agent desktop app, covering everyday office work, coding and document processing. Connecting it to Flatrouter gives you GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and 100+ other models from a single API key.
Requirements
- A Flatrouter account and an API key (get one here)
- WorkBuddy installed
Setup
Step 1: open settings
Launch WorkBuddy, click your avatar in the bottom left, and choose Settings.
Step 2: go to model config
In the settings sidebar click Models, then click + Add model on the right.
Step 3: fill in the details
In the "Add model" dialog, fill in:

WorkBuddy only speaks the OpenAI-compatible protocol. Flatrouter's /v1/chat/completions endpoint still reaches every model — GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and the rest — as long as you put the right model ID in Model name.
Tick the advanced options you need:

Click Save when you are done.
Step 4: confirm the model was saved
The model shows up in the "Saved models" list. That's the setup done.
Step 5: start chatting
Back on the main screen, click the model picker at the bottom and select your new model under Custom models.
FAQ
Q: Can I use Claude or Gemini models?
Yes. The OpenAI-compatible endpoint reaches every model — just put the right model ID in Model name.
Q: The model does not appear in the picker after saving
Restart WorkBuddy. Newly added models show up under Custom models in the model picker at the bottom of the chat.
Q: Requests fail with an endpoint error
Check that the endpoint is complete (https://api.flatrouter.com/v1/chat/completions) and that the API key was copied in full, with no stray whitespace.
