CC-Switch Setup
Add Flatrouter as a provider in CC-Switch and turn on usage lookup to monitor API consumption live.
CC-Switch is a multi-provider manager that lets you drive Flatrouter and other AI providers from one window. It also has a usage lookup feature that reports your Flatrouter API consumption in real time.

Requirements
- A Flatrouter account and an API key (get one here)
- CC-Switch installed and set up
Setup
Step 1: add Flatrouter as a provider
Add a new provider in CC-Switch with these settings:

Step 2: turn on usage lookup
- Enable usage lookup — flip the green toggle on the right
- API key — paste in your Flatrouter API key
- Request URL — set it to
https://api.flatrouter.com/v1 - Preset template — choose Generic template for the best compatibility
Step 3: verify
Once it is set up you can:
- See live usage statistics on the CC-Switch dashboard
- Monitor API call counts and token consumption
- Track spend against your budget
Usage lookup polls the API periodically for account statistics, so make sure the API key has the permissions it needs.
Keep your key safe
Never commit an API key to a public repository. Store it in an environment variable or a secrets manager.

Q: How often does usage data refresh?
Usage normally updates within a few minutes of a call, depending on how quickly Flatrouter processes it.
Q: How do I turn usage lookup off?
Switch off the usage lookup toggle for that provider in CC-Switch. It has no effect on normal API calls.
Q: Does usage lookup eat into my API quota?
No. It reads from a dedicated statistics API and does not count against your call limits.
Q: Can I add more than one Flatrouter account?
Yes. Add as many Flatrouter provider entries as you need, each with its own API key.
